On American Politics

OK, I’m really angry now. Once again we have no one for whom a middle-class moderate can vote in good conscience.

Bush: Ivy League patrician family, Yale, Skull and Bones Society Member, has the interests of the wealthy at heart, talks the talk of the religiously conservative but enacts policies that tell a different story. And what happened to Republican fiscal responsibility?

Kerry: Ivy League patrician family, Yale, Skull and Bones Society Member, has the interests of the wealthy at heart, talks the talk of social justice, but is inconsistent in his support of it.

Nader: Be serious.

Why does America have to polarize so that only the extremes of our society can have a voice? There is no party for people who care about the poor, think that the love of money is truly the root of all evil, question whether going to war is the best answer, go to regular-people schools, believe in social fairness, hard-work, property values, and helping those who cannot help themselves. Our country talks as if we don’t have an aristocracy, but these two bozos prove that we do. And the way its going, whichever one is elected, they’ll work against our best interests by bickering too much with each other, while the nation and the world continue to just try to make do. It is sad and frustrating.

I wish we had a viable third party that would dedicate itself to staying in the middle, but we moderates are too likely to listen, that is our downfall. I guess we could choose by hair. I will give GWB the edge in that. Senator Kerry, how can you be so rich and have such bad hair?
