Humanity in the swirling whirlwind of reflection and experience

So begins my experience as a blogger. I have heard of the phenomena. I have wanted to try it, but I haven't found the time until now. And here I begin my attempt to place my person in the nexus of larger connections. I want to use this mediaspace as a place for reflection and proclamation - for exploration of self and integration with others. My goal will be to write one eclectic musing at least every other day in the style of Montaigne's original Essais. I will assay the fields of my mind, of culture, of politics, of theology, of philosophy, of art, of science and I will proclaim my current thinking. So it begins. Today, a Friday, when, overwhelmed by the amount of work that sits on my desk, I instead start a blog as a proclamation of my possible value.
